Also, as you can see, I have eliminated most of the content here on Nothing but Song, and stripped down the layout to match. If you’re reading this on LJ, come visit! I really don’t have the patience to maintain anything more than what I’ve got up now. Most of the layouts were too busy, and prolly not dial-up friendly. It’s nice to strip things down and chill. I’m going to make more stripped down, chilled out layouts in the coming months as school is ending, and I can finally just waste time on making layouts.

This entry is going to be all over the place, just so you know, rofl.

New Order split up - this time for good? WTF. No, this is terrible news. “Waiting for the Sirens’ Call” was a brilliant album. True, I got into New Order kinda late (based solely on the fact the Killers are named after the band in their “Crystal” video). True, they prolly want to go do different things, or not make music at all. But STILL. They’re brilliant. And I would jump on Bernard Sumner in a heartbeat if I ever saw him. In a purely platonic, OMG MUST TOUCH U BECUZ UR BERNARD SUMNER kind of way. :)

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Flowers. They’re expecting a baby in July. Kinda validates the whole Great TKO Drama, though obviously v. late. TKO - as a whole - is going to send them something. I’m hoping everyone will donate a dollar (there’s 600 of us), so we can get them a gift basket. A seahorse is obvious, a card with all the names of the donators, a Hello Kitty onesie (from me!), stuff like that. If I could, I would personally deliver it. :)
